It’s been a while. I’m sorry, my computer died, and we had 25% off all last week, so I’ve been a bit of a mess. But I did manage to get out and see Quantum Of Solace this weekend. I loved it, and not to go off on a tangent, but I’m really bummed that most people did not. I’ve gotten a sdivange amount of criticisms, and all of them vary from ‘Not enough this’ to ‘not enough that’… “Not enough character development…” etc. Get over it! It’s a James Bond movie! I know Casino Royale did a good job of being a cross-over movie for the audience that typically would not enjoy the franchise, so I understand if you were disappointed by the shift back to the original direction of things, but that’s about all. I’m a huge fan of the series and I loved it. Ahem… Sorry.
What I am really here to say is that before Quantum of Solace I had the pleasure to see the new Star Trek Trailer, which you can find above. It’s JJ Abraham’s take on the franchise, and it looks AMAZING! So, for you Losties worried about how you are going to pass the time between season 5 and 6 take comfort. That’s all for now. It’s Beyoncé week here at fred flare. First, Jen and I started calling Keith “Beyonce” (don’t know why - and now I’m Jay-C) and then we had the ahmahzing SNL sketch with Justin Timberlake and now the release of B Dawg’s “I Am… Sasha Fierce” album.
